Mobile Plant Maintenance Supervisor

Lead a maintenance team on a major Western Australian mining project, ensuring the reliability and performance of mobile plant equipment in a full-time, permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance of production mining equipment (Caterpillar D10 & D11 Dozers, 16M Graders; Komatsu HD1500 Dump Trucks, WA900 Loaders; Hitachi EX2600 Excavator).
• Lead and support a team of mechanics and contractors.
• Plan, schedule, and execute preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement timely repairs.
• Oversee parts inventory, procurement, and workshop processes.
• Ensure full compliance with WHS and site safety requirements.
• Work closely with site leadership to meet KPIs.

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising a workshop/maintenance team on a mine site.
• Cert III Mobile Plant Technology Trade qualification (preferred).
• Schedule 26 (Statutory Supervisor Course) certification.
• Strong understanding of mobile plant maintenance and planning.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Schedule

• 8 days on, 6 days off (8:6 roster), alternating with 7 days on, 7 days off (7:7 roster).
• Flights covered from Perth, Kununurra, and Darwin.
