Mobile Personal Banker

Shore United Bank is seeking a Mobile Personal Banker to provide personalized banking support to customers while bringing flexibility and expertise to branches throughout our market. You'll build strong customer relationships, identify financial needs, and recommend products and services that help clients achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

• Aid customers in opening, managing, and optimizing their bank accounts and other products.
• Ensure and maintain excellence in front-line coverage to greet and assist walk-in customers and cover the phones.
• Work closely with bank partners for client referrals to Merchant, Wye Financial, Commercial Relationship Managers, and Branch Lenders.
• Provide loan processing for customers based on loan authority established by Loan Policy; take applications and handle routine inquiries concerning loans, rates, and payment schedules.
• Work on Teller line as needed.
• Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers, and co-workers.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
• Train employees on beneficial customer conversations to help the employee meet the customer’s financial needs, including referral training, cross-selling, and needs conversations.
• Perform customer requests including but not limited to check orders, issuing debit cards, address changes, changing of business signers, fraud disputes, and safe deposit box entry.
• Open new consumer and business accounts including CDs, IRAs, and safe deposit boxes.
• Provide superior customer service through conversation to identify additional client needs, in-person and over the phone.
• Help conduct and attend Branch Team Meetings.
• Demonstrate compliance awareness by completing all required regulatory and compliance training (e.g., BSA, CRA, ECOA) on or before deadlines, and actively support all policies, procedures, and practices that promote risk management, safety, and regulatory adherence.

Location

Your work location will vary based on needs in the Chesapeake North region. This is a floating position that will work a rotational schedule between branches in Edgewater, Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Severna Park, Crofton, Elkridge, Owings Mills, and Arbutus. Mileage reimbursement is provided less your normal commute from your home to the West Street Branch in Annapolis.

Schedule

• Full-time, non-exempt position.
• Days of work: Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays (Closed Sundays and all Federal Holidays).

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in banking with an understanding of consumer lending.
• Prior experience in a bank teller or customer service role.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $24.50 to $28.50 hourly. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements, and/or skill level.
