Mobile Pediatric and Adult Sonographer (Echo) - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes to conduct visits
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant
• Perform echocardiograms per protocol on adult and pediatric patients
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI
• Certification in Adult (AE) is required; Pediatric (PE) certification a plus
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience, in both adult and pediatrics
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel locally/regionally
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet
• Tech-savvy and self-sufficient with digital tools
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments
• Strong time management and organizational skills
