Mobile Patrol Security Officer - $22.00/hr

About the role

Securitas is hiring for a Mobile Patrol Security Officer to help keep a construction client site in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, safe. The position is TEMPORARY and is expected to last until early fall 2026. All officers working on a temporary detail are eligible to transfer to other sites in the commutable area for permanent work opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the premises of the site, conducting patrols using a company-issued vehicle
• Camera monitoring
• Able to be comfortable working within a construction environment
• Foot patrols
• Customer service

Requirements

• Attention to detail, vigilance, and a commitment to compliance are essential
• Strong customer service skills
• High level of professionalism
• VT Guard Card — we will assist you in applying for this upon accepting an offer
• At least 21 years old
• MUST have a clean driving record, as this position consists of almost exclusively vehicle patrolling

Skills

No specific security experience required. Previous retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is a plus, but training will be provided.

Schedule

7:00 pm to 5:00 am (OVERNIGHTS), Monday through Thursday (FULL-TIME, 40 hours per week)
