Mobile Medium Mechanic

Cox Fleet is currently hiring a Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support the combined growth of Cox Fleet and Corcoran Fleet Services.

Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections, light and follow-up repairs, light mechanical/hydraulic/electrical and electronic diagnostics, licensed DOT inspections, and other duties as assigned at customer locations.
Learn and apply additional advanced mechanical skills and diagnostic techniques.
Comply with all company policies and achieve high level performance metrics.
Work on various light/medium duty vehicles such as F150, F250, and F350, including some specialty equipment.
Travel 100% of the time to service multiple customers in your area and around the state.
Work a rotating schedule of Mon-Fri the first week and Mon-Sat the second week, with home every day.
Perform flat rate work with abundant opportunities for work.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences.
Two (2) years of equivalent experience in a similar technician role.

Understand the implications of new information for problem-solving and decision-making.
Able to lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk for long periods of time; able to perform moderately heavy laboring work.
Able to exert oneself physically over long periods of time without tiring, which may include performing repetitive tasks.
Communicate information in a succinct and organized manner.
Determine the type of tools and equipment needed.
Accurately judge distances and sizes.
Apply knowledge acquired through formal training or on-the-job experience to perform job duties.

$25.00 to $30.00+ per hour based on experience and location. Paid weekly.

Rotating schedule of Mon-Fri the first week and Mon-Sat the second week, with home every day.
