Maintain and repair mobile drill equipment
Maintain and repair mobile drill equipment, at remote customer sites including engines, chassis, and track frames to assure safe, reliable, and cost-effective use.

Starting pay: $31 - $33 per hour DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location
Location: Flexible within the Kern, Riverside, and San Bernardino County regions and surrounding areas.
This role is field-based, with travel to various customer locations using a company-provided vehicle; no fixed worksite is required.

What You’ll Do
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on drill rigs and heavy equipment, including Furukawa Rock Drills (FRD) equipment and similar drill platforms
- Maintain and service diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and track frames
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to maximize equipment uptime
- Accurately document work orders using maintenance software (Manager Plus or similar CMMS systems)
- Manage parts inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Maintain and operate a company service truck in compliance with DOT and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and ATF regulations
- Communicate effectively with operations teams, drill operators, and leadership regarding equipment status
- Promote a strong safety culture, maintaining safe work conditions at all times
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment, drilling, or diesel mechanics
- Strong knowledge Diesel and gasoline engines, Hydraulic and electrical systems, and heavy equipment diagnostics and repair
- Experience with drill rigs, mining equipment, or construction equipment preferred
- Familiarity with CMMS / maintenance tracking systems (Manager Plus or similar)
- Must have own tools
- Ability to work in remote field environments and variable conditions
- Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives
