Mobile - Mechanical/Industrial Equipment Technician
About the role
tdgFacilities is seeking a full-time Mobile Mechanical / Industrial Equipment Technician in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio to support customers in various commercial and light industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose problems and complete repairs and preventive maintenance on light industrial equipment and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot pumps, motors, bearings, fans, belts, and drive components
- Service and maintain commercial appliances and equipment
- Perform basic electrical, control, relay, motor, and equipment troubleshooting
- Install and replace commercial doors, hardware, and operators
- Handle plumbing fixtures and minor plumbing repairs
- Assist with general carpentry and building repairs
- Service and maintain commercial air compressors, including oil, filters, belts, separators, drains, and routine service items
- Troubleshoot compressor operating issues, leaks, pressure problems, excessive temperatures, and abnormal operation
- Inspect and maintain compressed-air dryers, filters, regulators, drains, and related components
- Identify and address air leaks and compressed-air system deficiencies
- Perform preventive maintenance and facility inspections
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have experience in commercial maintenance, industrial maintenance, mechanical service, compressor service, or a related field. Direct experience servicing air compressors or compressed-air equipment is preferred. Experience with specific brands like Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Quincy, Sullair, Kaeser, Chicago Pneumatic, or similar commercial compressor equipment is beneficial. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to assess equipment and identify repairable issues are essential.
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions. Must be able to work flexible hours, including some on-call responsibilities.
Skills
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, knowledge of commercial and light industrial equipment, ability to work independently, and strong communication and safety awareness are required.

Pay
$24 to $29 per hour
Schedule
Typically, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (with occasional on-call responsibilities shared within a team rotation).
