Mobile Mechanic

We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, construct, test, adjust, and service equipment
- Repair and maintain all mobile equipment with internal combustion engines of all types
- Work from elevated levels, operating mobile equipment, pneumatic and electrical hand tools, and jacks
- Apply working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, equipment braking systems, and OSHA requirements for mobile equipment and safety devices
- Use pertinent diagnostic tools
- Learn safety and quality procedures
- Build skills related to processing and melting aluminum scrap, then transferring molten aluminum into molds
- Accurately record hours and components for each task
- Show safe work practice around the facility
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work overtime, off hours, and weekends
- Reliability of attendance

Pay
Starting pay: $31.78 per hour
Schedule
Day shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., with a scheduled shift every other fourth Saturday.
