Automotive Technician

About the role

The Automotive Technician/Mechanic diagnoses, repairs, and maintains customer vehicles efficiently, adhering to dealership, manufacturer, and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles based on certification/experience levels.
• Perform repairs and inspections accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate technical issues and repair needs to non-mechanical personnel and customers.
• Recommend necessary services, document all recommendations thoroughly.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• Maintain ASE certifications and renewals.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferably possess at least one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Physical & Working Conditions: Exposed to loud noises, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials, with varying temperatures. Physical demands include bending, stooping, crouching, and manual dexterity.
