Mobile Maintenance Technician - Nashville, TN

Starting pay for this position is $20.00/hr; base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire and automotive services, including fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, brake repairs, and other mobile services while delivering an excellent customer experience
• Maintain independence on assigned routes by safely driving between appointments while representing Goodyear
• Conduct proper safety checks when preparing for and performing service
• Deliver outstanding customer service by answering questions and explaining the service process, ensuring full understanding of customer needs
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Goodyear products and services, including warranties, promotions, and advertisements
• Perform a variety of manual tasks, including pre-preparation of equipment, loading vehicles, cleaning the worksite, and product reconciliation
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, which may include light and heavy lifting (consumer tires and wheels), standing, bending, and squatting
• Opportunity to travel to other cities outside your home market for training or to train others on new technology and techniques

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Six months of automotive experience
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
• Three months of customer service experience (preferred)
• Ability to read, understand, and follow all procedures and guidelines
• Ability to work independently, follow schedules, and solve problems while being part of a team
• Strong communication skills to make customer interactions approachable, simple, and informative
• Comfort working with technology, including mobile phone applications and van tire-changing equipment
• Excellent time management and flexibility, as schedules may vary (including weekends and holidays)
