Mobile Maintenance Mechanic (Commercial Vehicles) - Kennesaw, GA

About the role

We Welcome Walk in Interviews on Tuesdays Between 9am -1pm
Location: 3029 Moon Station Rd, Kennesaw GA 30144

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and light maintenance on commercial vehicles, focusing on various areas such as wheel end work, brakes, air systems, and more.
• Provide specialized tire services, including mounting, dismounting, and repairs.
• Uphold safety and liability policies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate as part of a motivated team to meet organizational goals and deadlines.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 21 years of age.
• Must have one year of previous commercial truck or light mechanical service experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Must have a valid state-specific certification for the type of vehicle required for the position.

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
