Mobile Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

A Licensed Practical Nurse-Mobile contributes to AHF by providing friendly, informative, fast-paced services to patients in our Mobile Testing Unit. The LPN performs venipuncture/capillary puncture procedures and provides instructions to patients pertaining to self-administered specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Makes sure patient timelines are satisfied
• Evaluates and improves the quality of patient care
• Documents services performed for compliance and reporting purposes
• Answers patient questions
• Maintains confidentiality and creates a welcoming atmosphere for patients
• Follows OSHA guidelines and proper procedures to maintain a safe environment
• Enhances the reputation of AHF through good interpersonal relations and communication
• Provides feedback to management on how service could be improved
• Acts as a passionate advocate for AHF's top initiatives
• Ensures that AHF core values and mission are top of mind with all actions taken
• Works in a nimble, adaptable environment to provide the best experience for clients and a supportive workplace for employees
• Works collaboratively within a close-knit team to adhere to protocols and add consistent value

Requirements

• MS LPN License
• BLS Certification
