About the role
The Mobile Health Support Specialist is a dynamic, community-facing role responsible for supporting mobile clinic operations and delivering an excellent patient and partner experience at service sites. This role plays a key role in outreach, patient engagement, and on-site coordination, while collaborating closely with the mobile health team to ensure efficient, welcoming, and high-quality care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supports the setup, breakdown, and readiness of the mobile clinic, including ensuring supplies are stocked, spaces are clean and functional, and daily operational checklists are completed.
- Collaborates with the mobile health team to ensure efficient, welcoming, and high-quality care delivery.
- Supports clinic accessibility and continuity of services by operating the vehicle.
- Maintains a safe environment by observing and reporting safety concerns, supporting site awareness, and responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies in alignment with organizational protocol.
- Interacts professionally with all individuals, including managing challenging situations with de-escalation techniques and sound judgment.
- Adheres to organizational and departmental quality and service standards and may perform other related duties as assigned to support the success of the mobile health program.
Requirements
- Valid CA driver's license and a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures.
- Commit to obtaining a Commercial License within first 6 months of employment.
- A minimum of 25 years of age.
- Four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrate and always use customer friendly demeanor and etiquette.
- Ability to work with diverse individuals and those from historically marginalized backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and helpful under stress.
- Possess excellent communication skills and ability to follow through with assigned tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in commercial driving vehicles (long box truck).
- One (1) year of experience in a clinical setting and/or EPIC EMR experience.
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently.

- Holds an active (non-expired) Commercial Driver's license.
