Mobile Fleet Technician
Position Summary
A. Duie Pyle is seeking a Mobile Fleet Technician to support our East Brunswick location. This role involves performing routine service, diagnostics, and minor repairs on tractors and trailers, as well as assisting with administrative tasks and supporting logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications to assigned equipment
- Assisting with daily administrative duties
- Coordinating daily repairs and work flow
- Supporting Terminal Operations with equipment issues and relaying out of service events
- Assisting with breakdowns and vendor related issues
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of class 8 tractor and trailer maintenance and DOT/OSHA guidelines
- Must have a compliment of tools required to perform most Class 8 repairs
- Familiar with the systems relative to today’s heavy-duty equipment
- Must have 5 plus years of maintenance experience in a fleet maintenance environment
- Strong computer skills and proficient in: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be able to multi-task
Education and/or Experience
- High school Diploma and Industry Management Experience
Qualifications
- CDL/State Inspection a plus
