Mobile Fleet Technician($5k Sign-On Bonus)

About the role

Fleet Mobile Maintenance is a locally run, family-oriented company serving your community. We are seeking talented technicians to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial tractors and trailers.
• Write detailed work orders for mobile road calls and yard work.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
• Perform preventative maintenance measures on fleet semi-trucks and trailers.
• Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them as needed.
• Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires.
• Check and repair the brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
• Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of verified experience in commercial tractor and trailer repair.
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing.
• Ability to lift 100+ pounds.
• Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders.

Qualifications

• Experience with welding, certification a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, technical school degree a plus.
• Class A CDL.
• Your own tools.

Skills

• Commercial Tractor and Trailer Repair Experience.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Basic Reading and Writing Skills.
• Welding Experience (plus).
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (plus).
• Class A CDL (plus).
• Basic Driving Skills (required).

USD $32.00 - USD $42.00 /Hr.

M-F Schedule with rotating on-call.
