About the role
The Mobile Equipment Operator II transports materials within a quarry, operating various heavy machinery to support production and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate front end loaders, dozers, excavators, skid steers, and other mobile equipment based on operational needs.
- Inspect equipment, report malfunctions, and perform maintenance or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through cleanup activities.
- Accurately count materials and coordinate with quality personnel for material blends.
- Communicate safety, maintenance, and production needs effectively.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies while promoting a safety culture.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous activities in all weather conditions.
- Dependability, self-motivation, teamwork, and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to safety protocols and proper PPE usage, including respirators.
