Responsibilities
- Maintain batteries for mobile equipment on a schedule.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all mobile equipment.
- Plan and layout special projects within the department.
- Keep accurate records of time and work performed on mobile equipment daily in the Oracle eAM system.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
- Repair diesel and LP fuel systems, cooling systems, SCR systems.
- Make repairs to combustion engines.
- Troubleshoot steering axles and power shift transmissions.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and regulations, and safe job procedures.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Minimum 2 years industrial mobile equipment maintenance experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing: diesel, LP gas, & electric power trains; hydraulics; pneumatics; transmissions; brake & cooling systems; differentials.
- Prioritize: Advanced Technical Degree (Associate in Specialized Trade in industrial Mobile Equipment, Diesel Engine field) or Minimum 2 years Military experience in a heavy wheeled or tracked vehicle repair field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years industrial mobile equipment maintenance experience, including repair and diagnostic troubleshooting on the following types of Diesel, LP, & Electric Mobile Equipment and components: Forklifts, Aerial Lifts, Sweepers & Scrubbers, Caterpillar Crawlers, personnel Carts, and Mobile Hydraulic Cranes Hydrostatic transmissions, hydraulic systems, engines, brake & cooling systems, electrical & electronic systems, and differential systems.
