Mobile Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a Mobile Engineer opportunity supporting a dynamic, multi-site environment across the Austin metro area. Our team is looking for a candidate who can help keep critical building systems operating efficiently through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair response work orders for facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
- Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior and exterior components, and related grounds.
- Support inspections, due diligence efforts, and reporting on conditions that may affect client occupancy and operations.
- Update work order status in real time, submit P-card receipts daily, and use CMMS systems for all completed work.
Requirements
- Universal CFC recovery certification.
- Minimum of four years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of overall system design and applications, plus experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
- High school diploma or GED, valid state driver’s license, and availability for call-in work.
