Mobile Engineer

About the role

Supports safe, efficient operations by maintaining HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and response-based maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems and equipment.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interiors and exteriors, and related grounds and production equipment.
• Complete facility inspections, due diligence efforts, hazard assessments, and safety-related tasks while maintaining compliance with applicable ordinances, codes, and laws.
• Use CMMS systems such as Corrigo, update work order status in real time, submit P-card receipts daily, and support vehicle safety inspections and on-call needs as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Universal CFC recovery certification, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
• Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to meet the stated physical work requirements, including lifting up to 80 lbs., working from heights, climbing ladders up to 30 feet, and working in extreme hot or cold conditions.
• Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC; preferred working knowledge of Word and Excel; preferred 3rd party certification.
