About the Role

Prestige Fleet Services is your on-site maintenance expert for truck and trailer repair. Our skilled mobile technicians have decades of experience and are dedicated to providing the highest quality maintenance and repairs to keep fleets on the road. We offer first-class service, whether you need routine inspections or repairs, and our mobile repair experts come to you, performing all maintenance and repairs at your location and around your schedule. All technicians are D.O.T. and brake certified.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, and tires.
  • Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
  • Repair or replace vehicle and trailer components.
  • Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device.
  • Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
  • Accurately complete DOT forms and all other documentation in a timely fashion.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders, including adding labor hours and updating work order statuses.
  • 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
  • 2 years of experience in truck/trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must possess proper tools.
  • Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays when needed.

Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent (preferred).
  • Certifications are a plus.
  • Welding experience (preferred).

Working Conditions

  • Working in the outdoors.
  • Working under extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity).

Pay

$29 - $37/hr, commensurate with experience.
