About the Role
A Mobile Vehicle Mechanic performs routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of fleet vehicles across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure health and safety compliance by following all safe work practices and policies.
- Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment inspections to identify and fix deficiencies.
- Complete necessary documentation for maintenance tracking.
- Travel to different sites for repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Maintain active driver status and adhere to PPE requirements.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Over 1 year of experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
- DOT inspection experience.
- Own basic tools and willingness to travel up to 70%.
Qualifications
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
- Ability to conduct vehicle inspections and pass background, drug, and physical tests.
