Mobile DevOps Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the mobile application industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team in Los Angeles, CA. This is a 6-month contract position open to W2 candidates only.

About the role

As a Mobile DevOps Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Mobile Development Department, supporting multiple teams involved in the development, deployment, and management of mobile applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Manage submissions of mobile applications and coordinate communications with Apple and Google teams to ensure smooth release processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both Android and iOS platforms to streamline development and deployment workflows.
• Support infrastructure automation and optimize mobile application build, signing, and distribution processes.
• Oversee release management activities, including managing certificates, provisioning profiles, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and release teams to ensure best practices and high-quality mobile app releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited U.S. university.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years focused on Mobile DevOps engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience supporting Android and iOS application development and deployment pipelines.
• Proven expertise managing the complete mobile application lifecycle from development through App Store and Google Play Store releases.
• Strong knowledge of mobile architecture, release management, and deployment best practices, including managing app submissions and certifications.
