Mobile Device Specialist

About the role

The Mobile Device Specialist provides customer service for a government client, managing cell phone and smartphone inventory and solving technical problems on mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the mobile device program, including maintaining a cell phone inventory and providing printer consumable ordering information based on inventory and usage metrics.
• Diagnose problems and perform minor repairs on mobile devices, computers, and other IT equipment.
• Provide monthly reports on inventory and usage metrics.
• Handle inventory management tasks such as receiving shipments, restocking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain accurate records of all activities and processes related to the mobile device inventory.
• Support other task areas as required, if deemed in the best interests of the program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• IT experience is highly desired; two years of IT experience is strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience with MS Office (Excel, Access) and strong computer competencies.
• Proven ability to maintain professionalism with a commitment to customer service.
• Current driver’s license.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance; strong preference for candidates with an active DoD Secret clearance.
