About the role
Join Noble Community Clinics and play a vital role in our Healthy Smiles Program, delivering compassionate oral health care to Wisconsin students through our mobile and school-based dental services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver, pick up, sort, and accurately enter dental consent forms.
- Register patients in DentaSeal/EDR; verify insurance, demographics, and guarantor information.
- Prepare students for treatment and provide comfort, reassurance, and clear communication.
- Chart suspected decay and disease in DentaSeal for RDH review.
- Assist the RDH during procedures, including instrument handling and material preparation.
- Sterilize/disinfect instruments and maintain aseptic techniques.
- Provide oral health education to students and support ongoing preventive care.
- Maintain and transport equipment; replenish supplies; load/unload mobile units at schools.
- Support case management by following up with guardians and connecting families with dental homes.
- Complete treatment forms sent home with guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with school staff, parents/guardians, and community partners.
- Attend required meetings, OSHA trainings, and follow CDC and organizational guidelines.
In-Clinic Responsibilities (During Non-School Days)
- Prepare patients for dental care and assist dentists chairside.
- Expose and develop diagnostic dental x-rays.
- Record medical/dental histories and treatment notes.
- Maintain operatory cleanliness, equipment functionality, and adequate supplies.
- Provide oral hygiene instruction and postoperative guidance.
- Aid in emergencies and routine procedure support.
- Pour and trim stone models.
- Support patient communication related to treatment and financial arrangements.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or six months of related experience preferred.
- A valid Wisconsin driver's license with a clean driving record per company policy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure, and problem-solve effectively.
