Mobile Crisis Line Specialist

About the role

RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time Mobile Crisis Line Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Answer the Mobile Crisis phone line and manage the needs of the caller.
• Work with individuals in mental health crisis to ensure their safety and provide appropriate resources.
• Follow up with individuals to ensure their needs are met.
• Manage requests for face-to-face assessments with Master's level clinicians.
• Manage all general calls to the crisis line.
• Manage basic office functions.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a mental health related field such as psychology, social work, or counseling is required.
• Experience in a crisis hotline or social services environment is preferred.
• Good assessment, communication, and written skills are essential.
• A valid Tennessee driver’s license and a safe driving record are required.
