About the role
Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a Full-Time Mobile Crisis Counselor to join our team in Goldsboro, NC. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families facing behavioral health crises.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessments, interventions, and strength-based crisis planning to ensure safety and stabilization for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
- Collaborate with families, law enforcement, hospitals, and community partners to deliver timely, coordinated care.
- Participate in the crisis phone support rotation.
- Communicate effectively with families to connect them to community resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years of crisis experience with MH/DD/SA population.
- Valid unrestricted NC driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.

- Strong communication skills.

- Ability to work in community and office-based settings.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm or 9:30am - 5:30pm.
