Mobile Crane / Diesel Mechanic
About the role
Join a team that builds, lifts, and moves America. As a Mobile Crane & Diesel Mechanic, you’ll take ownership of maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, keeping operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and diagnostics on diesel engines, cranes, trailers, forklifts, and more
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, including onboard computer systems
- Work both in the shop and in the field, giving you a mix of stability and variety
- Operate independently, managing your day-to-day workload while collaborating with the team
- Travel occasionally to support field service needs
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of diesel or heavy equipment mechanic experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage workload without constant supervision
- Must provide your own standard tools (specialty tools provided)
- Willingness to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience with cranes or heavy lifting equipment
- CDL Class A (or ability to obtain)
- Experience reading electrical and hydraulic schematics
Additional Expectations
- Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Willingness to travel occasionally for field work

Schedule
Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with flexibility based on project demands.
