Mobile Collection Specialist CDL Driver
About the role
We are seeking a Collection Specialist-CDL Driver to join our Donor Services Phlebotomy team. This is a Full Time/30+ position working 30-39 hours per week and requiring varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy
- Provide donor care during the donation process
- Drive blood center vehicles (i.e. box trucks, truck and trailer combos, and buses)
- Transport blood drive supplies and the Donor Services team
- Set-up and tear down of the collection operation
- Restock of supplies
Requirements
- Customer service experience
- Enjoy working with the public
- A good, stable work history
- Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures
- Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to train away from home for up to two weeks at a time
- Comfortable driving larger vehicles (i.e. box-trucks, truck/trailer combos, and buses)
- Comfortable driving in various weather conditions
- Possess a valid CDL B (or above) with airbrake endorsements and be insurable by our insurance carrier
- Possess a REAL ID
- Hold or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certification Physical card
