This role builds the retail customer base through proactive, outbound quality sales conversations, creating customer loyalty, and growing customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience. You will sell PNC’s products and services to existing and prospective clients outside of branch locations, demonstrating how PNC can help them achieve their financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and independently act upon sales opportunities to achieve assigned sales goals.
- Establish connections between clients and PNC partners (e.g., PNC Investment, PNC Mortgage, and other consumer loan solutions) based on clients' financial needs and goals.
- Grow customer household relationships through onboarding new clients and building a strong pipeline of appointments for branch and PNC partners.
- Drive deep needs-based conversations to demonstrate value for customers and achieve greater financial well-being.
- Create an exceptional customer experience at events in external locations to drive acquisition, loyalty, and increased share of wallet.
- Strengthen client relationships through planning continued on-site events.
- Understand PNC capabilities, educate and coach customers on technology options.
Selling at non-PNC locations requires:
- Access to a reliable vehicle for daily travel to multiple work locations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds (e.g., marketing materials, collateral, or promotional items).
Employees are expected to be customer-focused and adept at managing risk in alignment with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Requirements
- Typically requires 3+ years of related experience or product knowledge.
- An Associate’s degree or equivalent is preferred; in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
- Ability to drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) between 10,001 and 26,001 pounds.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with state and federal requirements.
- Must have a current, up-to-date driver’s license issued by the state where you will be working/driving, along with a clean driving record.
- Candidates will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.

Pay
Base Salary: $45,375.00 – $75,625.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive-eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
