Responsibilities
- Provide mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals.
- Recommend the appropriate level of treatment based on assessment of risk factors.
- Triage patients to appropriate services.
- Crisis Intervention
- Mental Health Assessment
- Counseling and Referral Source
- Memorandum of Transfer
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
- Licensure/Certification: Current license in the State of Texas as LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, or RN; current CPR if required by a customer hospital; valid driver’s license.
- Experience: Completion of appropriate internship including individual, group, or family therapy/counseling; experience providing individual, group, and family therapy/counseling; mobile assessment experience preferred.
