MO - 8/3 - 807772 - MS Power Platform Developer

Contract duration: 12+ months with option of extension. Hybrid schedule: 2 days on-site in Raleigh, NC each week. Work must be performed during EST business hours and within the United States. In-person interview required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas, Pages and Model-Driven Apps).
• Build and configure secure, user-friendly portals using Power Pages or Canvas for external and internal users.
• Develop and manage data models within Microsoft Dataverse to support structured public-health data collection.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support reporting and integrations.
• Implement role-based access control and data-security best practices for both internal and external users.
• Perform testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.
• Maintain documentation for system architecture, data models, and processes.
• Implement SQL database connector within Dataverse to enable PowerApps to query a local SQL database, automate cross-checks between a currently authenticated Portal user and the SQL DB to ensure user match, and share limited information associated with that user.
• Deliver training to the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (3+ years of equivalent experience accepted).
• 7+ years of experience in MS Power Platform development and implementation.
• 7+ years of proficiency in PowerApps, MS Pages, and Dataverse.
• 7+ years of knowledge of SQL database structure.
• Microsoft Certification – Power Platform Developer Associate (highly desired).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
