MNA - Medication Nursing Assistant in Assisted Living

About the role

Webster at Rye, a non-profit facility located in beautiful Rye, NH, is seeking a Full-Time MNA in their Assisted Living Community. This position offers a flexible schedule of 2p-10p Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or 10p-6a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Join our amazing nursing team who enjoys interacting with our caring Residents!
• Supports the Nurse in assessing residents who request "prn" (as needed) medications.
• Reports to the Nurse on changes in resident's status and ensures medications are re-ordered in a timely manner.
• Assists in feeding residents and providing fluids and nourishment.
• Answers resident's calls for assistance promptly and reports to the supervising nurse in case of complaints or changes in condition.
• Assumes all other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
• Ensures self-safety and safety of the immediate work environment.
• Attends annual in-service programs on body mechanics, right-to-know laws, and fire and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Able to adhere to duties and responsibilities as a LNA.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• State of New Hampshire licensed Medication Nurse Assistant (MNA).
