About the role

As a warehouse operator, you will be responsible for two areas within the warehouse, Order Processing and Forklift Operation. Order Processing involves accurately selecting products to fill customer orders and delivering them to the shipping dock according to company standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The employee is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled and must be available to work scheduled hours to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately select products to fill customer orders and deliver them to the shipping dock in a manner that meets company standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Ensure the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.
  • Work overtime (including weekends).
  • Perform sorting, wrapping, packing, and other miscellaneous tasks as required.
  • Utilize RF scanners and the WMS.
  • Inspect all assigned equipment on a daily basis.
  • Train newly hired employees on tasks, duties, and responsibilities within case picking operations.
  • Conduct operations and model behavior that promotes a safe environment.

Requirements

  • General computer knowledge (SAP experience a plus).
  • Must be able to work overtime (including weekends).
  • Preferred 1-2 years Distribution/Warehouse experience.
  • Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift operation experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED preferred, not required.
  • Warehouse/manufacturing environment experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

Skills

  • Computer skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic scanning devices.

Schedule

Weekend Night Shift: 6:00pm-6:00am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night.
