About the role

BAE Systems' Air & Space Force Solutions team is seeking an exceptional, experienced Scheduler for the MM III Team. This role supports the Air Force's Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Systems Directorate.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Air Force's Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Systems Directorate
  • Tracks and assesses program status, technical performance, contract performance, schedule, and risk
  • Manages schedules and prepares status reports
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team
  • Establishes and maintains multiple project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 software
  • Ensures all schedules are fully compliant with industry standards, DOW schedule policies, the National Defense Industrial Association’s Planning and Schedule Excellence Guide (PASEG), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements, and DCMA 14-Point Assessment
  • Reviews and analyzes contractor schedules for compliance with DID requirements and imports into Primavera to integrate with Acquisition schedules
  • Develops, reviews, and analyzes Government schedules, including duration, relationships, constraints, and critical path
  • Identifies schedule risks and opportunities
  • Reviews and recommends schedule work-around and recovery plans
  • Performs schedule analysis and identifies trends using schedule metrics, such as BEI and SPI
  • Collaborates with various disciplines and functions to consolidate into the project master schedule and ensures accurate reporting
  • Leads scheduling status reviews with customers
  • Prepares summary level and detailed schedules for briefings

Requirements

  • 10+ Years with HS, 8+ Years with AA, 6+ Years with BS
  • Experience creating and managing an integrated master schedule and integrated master plan
  • Familiarity with reference tools: DoW Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule Preparation and User Guide, Planning & Schedule Excellence Guide (PASEG), GAO Schedule Assessment Guide, Defense Acquisition Guidebook (DAG), DoDI 5000.02, and AFI 63-101
  • Proficiency with MS Tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Project
  • Strong interpersonal skills and public speaking ability

Preferred Experience

  • Oracle Primavera P6 experience or Open Plan Professional (OPP)
  • Able to use software applications such as Life Cycle Management Process (LCMP); Microsoft Project; other Analytical software for Health and Risk assessments; Project Analyzer; EVMS; etc.
  • High focus and attention to detail
  • Experience in managing schedules, working through tight deadlines, and identifying risks
  • Assess the status of risk management activities based on the inclusion of the project risk mitigation activities in the IMP and IMS
  • Serve as the point of contact for ensuring mutual understanding of Government expectations and agreement on the project content, project plan, schedule, and risk
  • Capable of providing a detailed integrated execution plan and supporting schedule, identifying what needs to be done and when it should be done

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $107,359 - $182,510
