As a full-time Laboratory Technician/Technologist at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, you will be part of a dynamic team committed to providing exceptional patient care. You will work in a modern, technologically advanced laboratory equipped with the latest equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests using automated and manual techniques.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all tests.
• Interpret test results and communicate findings to healthcare providers.
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in continuing education programs to stay current with industry standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Science preferred.
• Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
