About the role

The AI Solutions team at Press Ganey is seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial Machine Learning Data Scientist III – Conversational AI to join our innovative team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and evaluating Conversational AI Agents, working closely with AI Scientists and ML Engineers to bring cutting-edge AI innovations to life.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop, and Evaluate Conversational AI Agents
• Work Closely with AI Scientists and ML Engineers to Imagine, Design, and Develop Various Machine Learning and Generative AI Products
• Leverage Your Conversational AI Experience to Ensure Alignment with Current State-of-the-Art Best Practices Throughout the AI & Machine Learning Team
• Work Closely with Responsible AI & Model Validation Center of Excellence to Support Ethical Development of AI Agents

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Related Field
• 5+ Years of Professional Experience in Applied Research and/or Software Engineering
• Proven Experience in Conversational AI / Dialogue Systems Using Generative AI Methods Such as RAG, Deep Research Agents, Chain-of-Thought, Multi-Agent Architectures, etc.
• Proven Experience with Generative AI Toolkits and Standards Such as LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, ADK, A2A, etc.
• Strong Understanding of Machine Learning, NLP, and Generative AI
• Excellent Communication and Cross-Team Collaboration Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Related Field
• Familiarity with Data Pipelines, ETL Processes, and Experience with Distributed Data Frameworks Like Apache Spark or Databricks
• Experience with Large-Scale Deployment Tools and Environments, Including Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Platforms Like Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Involvement in Conversational AI Research Community
