MK48 Torpedo Power Systems Technician

Barber-Nichols · Arvada, CO · 2 wk ago
On-siteEngineering$26–$32/hrFull-time

You clock in, pull the traveler for an MK48 unit, and begin by verifying circuits.

With a steady hand, you balance the shaft, complete tight-tolerance assembly on the alternator and regulator, and walk the build to the environmental lab. There, you put the hardware through its paces: thermal cycling, vibration testing, and external pressure testing. After component checkout and integration, you run the full acceptance test—only then is the unit ready for installation into the heavyweight torpedo.
