MK Assistant Brand Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage product P&Ls, launch plans, and promotional strategies
• Drive ideation and creation of brand ideas and concepts for new products
• Identify key brand/product opportunities to build and expand the Melaleuca brand portfolio
• Perform market analysis of products and product concepts, report on emerging trends
• Develop Basis of Interest platforms for product concepts
• Develop and manage Product Plans and Calendars for approved new product concepts
• Develop and manage Marketing Plans (brand positioning, pricing, promotion, advertising)
• Analyze competitive products and develop product claims
• Develop and drive creation of brand story, including supporting data
• Organize and manage cross-functional project teams for assigned brands
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed

Qualifications

• Detailed work and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze problems and create solutions
• Ability to work independently and follow through on projects
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive areas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong creativity skills
• Word processing and spreadsheet skills
• Manual dexterity for tasks such as stapling, collating, sorting, filing, typing, writing, etc.
• Communicate with individuals in person and by telephone in a tactful and courteous manner
• Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Two (2) or more years previous experience in Product Management or equivalent
• Strong customer relations skills for conflict situations
• General business skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent
• Ability to perform essential duties with efficiency and accuracy
