Job Summary
Greenhill’s New York based Investment Banking group is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join its M&A team. This group works across industry sectors and primarily focuses on M&A transactions. Associates are assigned to a variety of projects and are given a broad range of responsibilities, some of which include:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years investment banking, corporate finance, and M&A experience with a top tier investment bank
- OR an MBA concentrating in Finance with post-MBA investment banking experience with a top tier investment bank
- Knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk & pricing analysis
- Experience in M&A Investment Banking a strong plus
- Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative ideas and/or product solutions
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Maturity and good judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Able to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas
- Creativity and intellectual curiosity
- Able to work independently and must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency with FactSet, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Microsoft Office
- Series 79 & 63
Benefits
The expected base salary ranges from $175K - $225k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
