Mixing Operator III

About the role

The Mixing Operator III is responsible for operating industrial mixing equipment in full accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining 100% cGMP compliance to ensure the consistent production of high-quality pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities

• Perform and verify complex equipment cleaning and operate various types of industrial-scale mixing equipment.
• Monitor production activities to ensure batches are completed on schedule and equipment is running safely and efficiently.
• Review Production Batch Records (PBRs) for accuracy upon completion of mixing activities, sign off, and submit to the Supervisor.
• Ensure all equipment within the department is properly grounded prior to initiating any batch.
• Follow the daily production schedule and assign tasks accordingly to support workflow and production targets.
• Assess the performance and skill levels of Mixing Operators I and II and provide recommendations for development or improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED General HS Curriculum - Preferred
• Experience: 5 years or more in With HS/GED- Experience in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing environment. 6 years or more in Less than HS/GED - proven related experience in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing environment.

Skills

• Required to read, write, and communicate in English
• -High school level math and mechanical skills
• -Flexible to work extended hours when required
• -Ability to work as part of a team
• -Attention to detail and accuracy

Specialized Knowledge

• Knowledge of High Shear Mixer, Fluid Bed Processor, GPCG-60 and 120

Pay

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22.00 to $32.00 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months.

Schedule

Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
