The Concrete Mixer Truck Driver is responsible for delivering ready mix concrete in a safe, efficient, customer oriented, and professional manner from production sites to customer projects. Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively and works well in a team environment.
• Deliver ready mix concrete safely and efficiently from production sites to customer projects and ensure delivery records are processed appropriately.
• Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional and courteous manner.
• Communicate with dispatch, plant operators, other drivers, and customers to provide quality service.
• Visually inspect the quality and consistency of concrete in the mixer truck.
• Perform daily preventive truck maintenance and inspection.
• Ensure environmental and DOT requirements are followed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Class A or B driver's license with current medical card.
• Minimal moving violations.
• Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain respectful relationships with other staff.
• Must be able to interpret written information such as safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong work ethic.
• Flexibility is essential, as the position requires varied working hours and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.
