About the Role
The Mixer role at the Lancaster location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance, quality, and safety throughout the plant. You’ll add value by performing various functions including running food manufacturing processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner, maintaining facility and work area cleanliness, and following work instructions to ensure food safety and quality.
Competitive compensation: earn $22.25 per hour, including shift differential. Earn more with opportunities for additional overtime.
Responsibilities
- Run food manufacturing processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform facility/work area housekeeping duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and company policies and procedures.
- Follow work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality.
- Recognize and report employee safety, food safety, and/or quality issues.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus.
- Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends.
Schedule
This is a full-time permanent role, operating 3PM to 11PM on a rotating days/weeks schedule. Overtime may be available depending on the needs of the business.
