About the Role
The Production Mixer role at the Carrollton location is responsible for operating mixer(s) to provide properly mixed dough to the production line at the appropriate time to maintain production schedules. You will also operate the extruder to ensure consistent production and maintain line schedules.
- Accurate scaling of ingredients according to established formulas.
- Load ingredients into mixer and mix to proper consistency.
- Correctly set up extruder.
- Safely lift and dump bulk ingredients.
- Monitor and adjust extruder to maintain correct properties as required by process or formulation.
- Maintain batch reports and record all finished product while maintaining production line schedules.
- Pull samples for each dough.
- Adhere to all company policies, plant rules, and safety regulations.
- Comply with FDA, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Follow good manufacturing practices to prevent product contamination.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to read and understand mixing formulas and procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations to count product and fill orders.
Schedule
This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, operating from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.
