Responsibilities

• Accurately scale and measure all ingredients using a variety of scales.
• Condense partial pallets of ingredients daily.
• Program liquid bulk and dry bulk system for the mixer in use.
• Set up mixing platform with pre-scales.
• Read batch tickets for mixing instructions.
• Set up and maintain equipment.
• Operate assigned equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment throughout the shift.
• Accurately complete all necessary production documentation where applicable.
• Know basic operations of assigned equipment and basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform additional tasks as needed, including cross-training on other machines and/or in other areas.
• Work with support groups to ensure lines are ready to start on time and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• 12 months of continuous work experience with the same employer in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good safety habits and a solid safety record.
• Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Commitment to good housekeeping at all times.
