Mixer - 2nd Shift

About the role

Produces product by mixing raw materials and automatically transporting the dough to the conveyor lines. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Performs visual inspection of product to identify out of specification looking for physical characteristics that indicate product is out of specification—for example, misshapen pretzels, holes, low dough, riders and others.
• Performing weight checks, checking and recording dough temperatures, checking and adjusting cutter speeds, collecting test samples, and adjusting mixer speed.
• Resolving production problems by adjusting processes to meet specifications; and communicating with oven room supervisor and Oven Operators to resolve issues or obtain maintenance for mechanical assistance.
• Performs sanitation duties according to daily, shift or shutdown schedule.

About You

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment—food manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask.
• The ability to work overtime.

Important Details

This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd Shift, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. The hourly rate for this role is $22.75 per hour, shift differential included.
