Mitigation Technician

About the role

We are an established and growing restoration general contractor specializing in rebuilding and restoring residential buildings after a flood, fire, or other natural disaster. We are seeking Mitigation Technicians to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Travel to damaged homes or businesses and support the cleanup and restoration of water and mold-damaged property.
• Support the mitigation of damage in both residential and commercial structures.
• Perform water damage mitigation.
• Conduct structural board-up and security.
• On-location cleaning.
• Microbial remediation.
• Content pack-outs.
• Content processing and deodorization.
• Content storage.
• Handling of various materials and equipment.

Requirements

• Self-motivated, reliable, and a team player.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Previous experience in mitigation is preferred, but not required.
• Available for emergency services (nights, weekends, & holidays) and rotating on-call.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Able to lift/move 50+ lbs.
• A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
• Display the ability to learn cleaning solutions, mixtures, cleaning techniques, and water loss procedures.
