Mitigation Technician

About the role

American Restoration Water and Fire LLC. is a disaster recovery company serving clients across New Mexico, responding to emergency floods and fires 24/7. They have an immediate opening for an entry‑level restoration technician. Work location is in‑person.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to restoration requests and emergencies
• Perform water damage restoration, set and monitor equipment
• Clean and restore properties affected by various types of damage
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete restoration projects
• Conduct carpet cleaning and other specialized cleaning tasks as needed
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines during restoration procedures

Requirements

• Active Driver's License
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for restoration work
• Ability to restore and clean properties effectively and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
• Must pass a background and drug test
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in restoration (water, mold, or fire)

Pay

Starting pay is $17‑$21 per hour, depending on experience; $24 per hour if you hold a current IICRC certification. The position is full‑time with an expected 30‑50 hours per week.

Schedule

Shifts include 10‑hour and 8‑hour options, with extended hours, on‑call availability, overtime, rotating weekends, and supplemental pay such as bonus opportunities, overtime pay, performance bonus, and weekly bonus.
