Mitigation Lead Technician

About the Role

Emergency Restoration Experts (ERX) is seeking full‑time Mitigation Technicians to assess, rebuild, and restore homes and businesses after man‑made and natural disasters. Technicians create a superior customer experience by joining an emergency response team, demonstrating physical strength and stamina, and proficiently using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers during disaster response activities.
• Repair and restore structures, including removal and replacement of damaged drywall, plumbing, and related materials.
• Collaborate with direct supervisors to ensure a unified and efficient team.
• Execute and implement appropriate mitigation procedures and follow up to assure excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Attention to detail in organization, cleanliness, and care for facility, assets, and equipment.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
• Basic technical skills to use a smartphone/tablet and relevant software.
• Availability to work overtime in response to emergency situations, including after‑hours, weekends, or holidays.
• Experience in demolition, the restoration industry, and basic carpentry skills preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 80 lb.
• Comfortable standing on your feet for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled environments.

Schedule

Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a consistent schedule. Overtime may be required for emergency response, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
