About the role

Practical work in a social center in Romania as part of the "International Youth Volunteer Service," a state-recognized program.

Duration: approximately 11 months starting summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various construction tasks
• Perform repairs and maintenance on buildings and grounds
• Maintain outdoor areas, vehicles, and equipment
• Support construction projects with recreational groups
• Assist in organizing and leading leisure activities (e.g., excursions, sports, hiking, outdoor activities)

Requirements

• Experience and interest in practical or manual work
• Interest in recreational work and experiential education
• Willingness to learn Hungarian or prior knowledge of Romanian or Hungarian

Work environment

• Collaboration in an international team
