MIT (Manager In Training)

Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking local, enthusiastic individuals for a Manager in Training (MIT) role in the greater Martin/Paris, TN and Murray, KY areas. This is an exciting opportunity to develop innovative sales strategies, achieve sales goals, and build meaningful customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop close relationships with Store Managers and ensure all accounts adhere to company policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of people daily, including existing and prospective customers.
• Demonstrate confidence and strong communication skills to convey product benefits and address customer needs.
• Identify prospective customers, generate leads, and convert competitor accounts.
• Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs, emphasize product features, and answer questions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and prepare sales agreements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different sectors of Pepsi MidAmerica.
• Create and maintain contact lists, and follow up with customers to build relationships.
• Meet and exceed customer service expectations while maintaining professional relationships.
• Uphold Pepsi MidAmerica standards and create sales opportunities in designated accounts.
• Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, analyzing situations and solving problems.
• Engage in regular training, evaluation, and development of personnel.
• Represent Pepsi MidAmerica positively at all times.

Requirements

• 2+ years of management experience recommended.
• Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, online research, and report typing/editing.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Physical endurance for standing, traveling, and performing job duties as business dictates.
